Stablecoin

Stablecoins are cryptocurrency tokens that are pegged to a stable asset such as a FIAT currency (USD, EUR) or stabilized by an algorithm that constantly adjusts according to supply and demand. In theory, stablecoins are resistant to the volatility of other types of cryptocurrency since their value is measured against a known asset.
